‘Bhunoor Bhunoor’ song from Phullu will definitely give you major relationship goals

Living in a so-called modern era, we Indians are still uncomfortable to talk about periods. In fact, many of us even try to change the topic when someone says ‘periods’. The menstruation taboos still exist in our country to a greater extent. The government is ready to make Bindis, Sindoor, and Bangles tax-free, but not sanitary napkins, knowing the fact that 88% of Indian women still don’t use sanitary pads during their periods. There are NGOs and celebrities fighting to make sanitary pads tax-free. And in this hurly-burly, comes a film which we exactly needed. ‘Phullu’ is the film we talking about, the trailer of the movie was been released this week and it received applause for its hard-hitting concept. The movie depicts the life of women living in rural areas, where they have hardly heard of the term ‘Pads’. The story of the film revolves around the life of Phullu and his wife (Jyotii Sethi), who are happily married and living in a village which is submerged with all related taboos, and nobody is taking an effort to break all these stereotypes. Forget menstruation hygiene, people in the village are not even ready to discuss anything related to periods.  It is only when ‘Phullu’ visits a medical store in a city where he finds about sanitary napkins. Later on, he learns the health issues which women can face if they aren’t using sanitary napkins. Phullu then decides to learn how to make sanitary napkins so that he can sell them at a cheaper rate, and make the life of women better. In his mission, he faces many backlashes from the women of his village and even from his mother. But nothing stops him from going ahead. The film also features Jyotii Sethi, as Phullu’s wife, who unlike others supports her husband’s efforts. His wife herself is going through a tough time, which is not been revealed in the trailer. We don’t know whether Phullu will be able to accomplish his mission in the film, but the trailer has successfully won our hearts. The story of the film is definitely thought-provoking and promising.

The Trailer of the film received acclamation from every corner, and recently they released their first song ‘Bhunoor Bhunoor’. The song shows how one can live a happy married life even in a village. Phullu and his wife are enjoying every bit of life because they are madly in love with each other. The song sweetly describes the chemistry of Phullu and his wife. Lyrics and music lacks nothing, and we are absolutely loving this new fresh track.

Here is the song for you
