As the film Love Sitara is all set to release, from the trailer one cannot help but to get excited about how the love story of Sitara and Arjun – played by Sobhita Dhulipala and Rajeev Siddhartha – pan out on-screen. But before we do so, here we look at the films where our much-loved film stars donned their chef’s cap on-screen
Amitabh Bachchan: Directed by R Balki, the film Cheeni Kum, released in 2007 shows an unusual love story of Buddha and Nina played by Amitabh Bachchan and Tabu – starts over a Hyderabadi Biryani that eventually culminate into a marriage. Bachchan played a chef in the film.
Shah Rukh Khan: A Mahesh Bhatt directorial Duplicate, released in 1998, the film starred Shah Rukh khan in dual role among which Bablu Chaudhary is a chef while Manu is a criminal. It was one of those films where we saw the King Khan donning the chef’s cap!
Saif Ali Khan: While Salaam Namaste was one of the first Bollywood films to show live-in relationship on-screen, the protagonist of the film played by Saif Ali Khan was a chef by profession. Preity Zinta was a radio jockey who initially hesitant but eventually moved in with him to explore their story of love.

Rajeev Siddhartha: The upcoming film Love Sitara, directed by Vandana Kataria, starring Rajeev Siddhartha and Sobhita Dhulipala revolves around a complicated story of two families who have their secrets. Rajeev Siddhartha is playing a chef who went through an extensive training to get under the skin of the character. The film releases on ZEE5 on September 27.
