Recently, actress Shilpa Shetty revealed how IPS officer Kiran Bedi was her inspiration behind playing a cop in the Indian Police Force. Now with this revelation, Shilpa received a special something from Kiran Bedi herself.
The first woman IPS officer responded to Shilpa on social media and wrote, “Very Generous of you Shilpa Shetty. Most grateful for your kind words. Wish you well. Am looking forward to watching the show.”
Elated with this, Shilpa also replied saying, “Thank you for always inspiring me and for setting such a fantastic example of what a fierce, brave, and passionate officer looks like, Kiran Ji much love!”
Talking about Kiran Bedi, Shilpa had earlier said, “Kiran Bediji has such a gravitas, a fierce personality. She was so passionate about what she did when she was in that position, hence I have a huge amount of respect for her. She also has a great sense of humor, there is a certain way Kiranji speaks, that was always there in my head.”
Shilpa will be the first female cop in Rohit Shetty’s cop verse. She will be seen playing Officer Shetty in the Indian Police Force which releases on 19th January.
