“Ulajh” tells the story of Suhana Bhatia, a young IFS officer with a legacy of patriots in her family, who becomes entangled in a dangerous personal conspiracy while navigating a career-defining post far from home. The premise is intriguing, but the execution falters, resulting in a slow and lengthy narrative.
The first half of the movie is engaging, setting up an interesting plot. However, it fails to maintain this momentum in the second half, with a loose plot and distracting direction. The story loses its grip, leaving the audience disengaged.
Janhvi Kapoor shines in her role, showcasing remarkable talent and growth. Her nuanced and powerful portrayal captures the complexities of her character with finesse. Janhvi’s dedication is evident in every scene, bringing depth and authenticity that elevates the film.
Roshan Mathew also stands out with his compelling performance, while Gulshan Devaiah surprises with his nuanced craft. The supporting cast delivers solid performances, doing justice to their characters.
Conclusion:
Despite these strong performances, the movie ends on a disappointing note, hinting at a sequel but failing to capture the audience’s attention until the climax, which lacks satisfaction. The film misses the mark on delivering a thrilling experience, leaving viewers wanting more.
