This year’s Bigg Boss season 11 is in discussion for all the wrong reasons. One such reason is faking identity. Following the footsteps of fellow ex contestant Zubair Khan (who claimed to be son-in-law of Haseena Parker) is none other than the bigg-boss-bang-bang singer & rapper Aakash Dadlani.
In the episode aired last night, Aakash claimed that he is music composer Vishal Dadlani’s “dead brother’s son”. Akash very casually informed the contestants that he’s related to Vishal and how they are very close. His fellow contestants Puneesh Sharma and Vikas Gupta too were seen discussing the same with him.
Rubbishing the claim made by Aakash, Vishal Dadlani took to his Twitter account to issue an official statement.
Vishal shared that he had a brother and he doesn’t even know who Akash is. His statement reads,“Some dude on Bigg Boss claims to be related to me. I checked and he is, but quite a distance. I don’t know him, apart from his having texted me asking for work, a few times. With respect, I won’t work with someone just because they happen to have the same surname as I do. Even if he was my “dead brothers’ son” as is claimed, he’d have to work his way up and earn his place. Also, thankfully, I don’t have a brother, never have. This is to clarify that I have never met this gent and that I do not even know him. I wish him well, as I would any other musician. But that’s about it.”
