Actress Ananya Panday has been lauded universally for her spectacular performance in CTRL, the Vikramaditya Motwane thriller which showcased the actress’ acting prowess. Ananya gained widespread appreciation from critics and fans alike and she’s added one more fan to that long list of admirers—Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
Samantha in a recent Q&A with her fans on Instagram was asked who are the best actresses in Indian Cinema according to her, to which she named Ananya Panday in CTRL as one of the best talents of this era.
She also praised Parvathy Thiruvothu (Ullozhukku), Nazriya Nazim (Sookshmadarshini), Sai Pallavi (Amaran), Alia Bhatt (Jigra), and Kani Kusruti & Divya Prabha from the critically acclaimed All We Imagine as Light.
Samantha said, “ I love these women, I love the work they’re doing, I love the risks they’re taking because it’s not easy, so huge respect to all these girls, they’re amazing and rockstars!”
